Saturday December 6, 13 & 20 from 10am-3pm

Choo Choo – move on over apples and pears, we’ve teamed up with the United Way of York County and a local toy train collector, to bring this NEW toy train event to York County.

With all proceeds to support the United Way of York County, families and friends have the opportunity to enjoy this unique experience of fun at the Orchard! With more than 5 complete train sets to choose from, children, and adults too, will be able to design their very own train set, layout and more!  Once they have designed their masterpiece train set, they can enjoy conducting it and driving it, running it fast or slow, or adding in the blow of the horn!  This event is designed for families and friends as a hands on experience that will encourage today’s youth to learn more about model toy trains.

Toy Train Play will be set up for both individuals or groups (no more than 5 people) to operate at a specific train station area.  Admission fee: $10/group, includes 20 minutes in the play area and each child will receive a conductor’s hat to take home with them!  To help support our local community, the proceeds from this event will be all shared with the United Way of York County.

While reservations are not required for either event, they can be made by contacting the Orchard at (717) 252-2540.

Family members and friends can have just as much fun as all the kids too, enjoying a sample of hot spiced cider as you browse and shop your way through the market … fresh cut trees, greenery, and wreaths – along with a collage of poinsettias and other unique crafts and holiday decor!
