Asparagus Bake

Ingredients
  • 18 asparagus spears
  • ¼ c. butter
  • ¼ c. flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1½ c. milk
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 hard boiled eggs, sliced
  • ½ c. cracker crumbs
  • ¼ c. butter, melted
Instructions
  1. Cook asparagus 10 to 20 minutes
  2. In medium sauce pot, melt butter and stir in flour and salt
  3. Stir in milk and cook over medium heat until sauce thickens
  4. Stir in cheese until melted
  5. In baking dish, layer asparagus, eggs and white sauce. Repeat layer; top with cracker crumbs.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
