Ingredients
  • Crumble
  • ½ c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • ½ c. chopped English walnuts
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • Batter
  • ½ c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. fresh or frozen Blueberries, rinsed, drained and floured
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Crumble
  3. In medium mixing bowl combine brown sugar, nuts, and cinnamon; set aside
  4. Batter
  5. In large mixing bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy
  6. Beat in sugar
  7. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating until batter is smooth after each addition
  8. Stir in sour cream
  9. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and vanilla
  10. Beat until smooth, then fold in Blueberries
  11. Spread half of the batter into a greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking pan.
  12. Sprinkle crumble over batter
  13. Spread remaining batter over the top
  14. Bake 40-45 minutes
  15. Cool in pan and cut into squares to serve
  16. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar if desired
