Strawberry Syllabub Recipe from:
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup confectioner’s sugar
2 egg whites or powdered egg white equivalent
2 Tbsp medium dry sherry
1 qt fresh strawberries
1. In a large bowl, combine the cream and ¼ cup of the sugar; whip until stiff.
2. In another bowl, beat the egg whites with the remaining ¼ cup sugar until stiff. 3. Fold the egg whites into the cream mixture. Add sherry. Place the berries in a serving bowl and pour the sauce over them. | |
