Asparagus Bake
Recipe from:  Sonia Flinchbaugh

18 asparagus spears
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
4 hard boiled eggs, sliced
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
1/4 c. butter, melted

 

Cook asparagus 10 to 20 minutes. Melt butter and stir in flour and salt. Stir in milk and cook over medium heat until white sauce is thick. Stir in cheese until melted. Layer asparagus, eggs and white sauce. Repeat layer; top with cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
