Strawberry Syllabub
A grown-up twist on strawberries and cream.
Recipe type: Dessert
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • ½ c. confectioner's sugar
  • 2 egg whites or powdered egg white equivalent
  • 2 Tbsp. medium dry sherry
  • 1 qt. fresh strawberries
  1. In a large bowl, combine cream and ¼ cup confectioner's sugar; whip until stiff
  2. In medium bowl, beat the egg whites with the remaining ¼ cup sugar until stiff
  3. Fold the egg whites into the cream mixture. Add sherry. Pour over berries
